Androgyny modelling

Modeled by Leanne Carrigan.

This is a dress that I re-created from a shirt and pencil skirt, which was purchased from a charity shop. The collars, the sleeves and the lining of buttons were taken off. The collars were placed on the waist of the skirt, acting as a belt. A strip was taken from the line of buttons and placed horizontally across the collar bone, so that a statement necklace can be attached to the dress.
The netting was taken form the underskirt of a prom dress and then split into 10 panels; which were placed in line and tacked at the top, holding them together. I then wove it around the bottom of the skirt, creating a fishtail.
This was my final outcome/product for my Androgyny project.
